A Formal Invitation (Vas Aradhana) to observe the rainy retreat will be extended to the venerable monks by Mr. Dilshan and Mrs. Mekhala Peiris as the principal sponsors of this year’s Katina Ceremony. The invitation will be carried out at the Colorado Buddhist Viharaya on Sunday July 21st, 2024 at 8pm. Devotees are most welcome to participate in this event.
The Vassana Retreat will be held from 21st July 2024 to 26th October 2024. All the programs during this period will be held on weekends only.
Atavisi Buddha Vandana and Buddha Puja will be held every Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Devotees are welcome to set up sponsorship for this event. The principal sponsors of the Katina ceremony should participate in this particular event.
Please make a strong determination (Adhitthana) to make this Rains-Retreat an opportunity to follow the footsteps of the Enlightened Beings and engage in highly meritorious activities such as learning and practicing Dhamma, developing insight meditation and participating/contributing to temple maintenance activities/events.
